       1)  Get familiar with the dictation machines or audio system and transcription methods.
Basically quality of one’s work is being judged by analyzing the method he follows during his task to eliminate mistakes out from it. A general transcriber who is listening to audio and then typing it is considered as a good transcriber but the one who recheck it after hearing the audio again in same time limit is considered as the best general transcriber.
2)      Things one need to learn fast by practicing them frequently are:
·         Typing speed to write the dictation
·         Operating the audio machine
·         Practicing hearing business terms used in handling a project
·         Comprehension skills in audio recording
3)      When transcription is completed then the general transcriber should analyze and perform desired formatting on transcribed document like identifying errors and change them according to ideal transcription guidelines. After that performing desired quality checks on output document to assure 100% level of accuracy is an important part in the role of general transcriber.

Transcribing an audio to a document is a simple and less time taking task but adding quality to your service that satisfies a potential client’s need is a long time process.
