In some situations even expert people involved in the general transcription business from a long time commit serious mistakes. This doesn't mean that they are not proficient in their work but sometimes it is due to problems with the material provided for transcription, audio files. In many cases these audio files are in very bad form and it is difficult even for experienced person to transcribe it. So business people, who seek for transcription services from general transcription companies, should follow some standards to create ease level for working on it.

1)   Make sure about the location of microphones you are using to record the conversation. These recording devices should be at appropriate distance so that clear voice is recorded as audio voice. One can check the audio clarity by creating a sample copy.
2)  Avoid external disturbances like traffic sounds, noises, music etc. These degrade the quality and mixture of noises makes a person performing general transcription difficult to recognize the wordings accurately.
3)  In case of portable recorder or handheld microphone, it is very important to stabilize the position because unstable microphone can lead to scrapping noise.
4)  If you are recording some telephonic conversations then make sure about connectivity. Cell phones have many problems related to network. Dropped calls, dropped words are major faults in cell phone conversations and online conversations on Skype or any other mediums. So one should check his audio file and remove dropped words and other things from it to make general transcription easier for a transcriber.

It is easily predictable how one can read and then write it if his book is half torn. Same is the case with transcription audio with poor quality.
